as was discussed in class, the project is not about bananas, or even fruit. but has to do with transformation.
what needs to happen, for this to be either "art" or "design" ?
grapefruit. in some ways less interesting — perhaps because less mysterious — than the banana prints. how would you compare these? this is the important question at the moment.
later, can these (and other sources) be developed into decorative elements, for table linen? wall treatments? etc?
