Love?
This week I have thought about our discussion..and focused on one emotion, and how to represent it in more than one way...here are 5 new explorative pieces all pertaining to the emotion of love. Here I am exploring more into lighting, sounds, colors, and forms in these short clips to emphasize other perceptions of love in a series of 5.

Video series 1
Here I have two examples of visual creations, not exactly what I was planning on creating at first, but for now this is what I am thinking of currently.
My first few attempts at learning adobe premiere... I have created short videos of 10 seconds.
The end result isn't exactly what I want, but I am still working on figuring out the issues.
But for now here are some examples of visuals for experimental ambient sound.

Video Idea?
I've been working on an idea like this for a while. Possibly thinking of either creating a video with these lines gradually moving across the subject with the subject moving too, gif image of the line moving, or many smaller videos with this concept....I do have some ideas for sound to go with this as well...

Wandering In Sound w.i.p.
For my project I am writing a series of music with plans of creating visuals to go along with the music. My work currently is still in the early phases of writing and figuring out new compositions with each passing day. I want to play around with a topic I have been researching lately which is synesthesia to show the colors that are found in music. I have ideas of making videos involving colors of the synesthesia chart, and possibly pairing that with abstracted animations to give a visual to the songs. Moving forward I want to create music that dabbles in experimental, classical, and electronic genres; as well as trying many forms of visual exploration.

Classical & Research

This video is important to me, because I've been thinking way too much about how to create a colorful visual narrative without it becoming so strictly mapped out according to Scriabin's color chart. After seeing this I plan on doing more research into this realm of music visualization...my end goal is to have a contemporary visual creation of music. This is simply just more research for me and things to consider when going into this project...

Art in Symphonia
As of late I am working in the realm of music; a passion of mine from a very young age. Through this I am going to create an album/ collection of music with visual discoveries of color & abstracted forms present in my written music through means of synesthesia studies.
Synesthesia will be a part of my research as well as looking into the studies of Joseph Schillinger.
Through these two sources of inspiration I plan on writing music that explores different genres of music; playing with pitch and tone in order to find different colors and forms found in the music I will write. I want to create both visual & melodic pieces of art through means of music exploration.

preliminaries
1
All seminar projects should have a title (always subject to change), and a 140-character (tweet length) summary (also may be changed). Optional: three or four #tags, possibly worked into that tweet-length summary, that help orient the work to larger (social, thematic, political etc) concerns.
For Tuesday: Have titles and 140-character summaries; do the readings; discuss current movements in your projects/initiatives.
This post is tagged with everyone's tag (or "label"), so you can see your name in the "posts by" list on main blog page, right column.
